Donner Metals Ltd. is a Canadian base metals exploration and development company located in Vancouver B.C. The Company is focused on base and precious metal exploration throughout Canada. Donner's flagship project is the Matagami Project option and joint venture with Xstrata Canada Corporation - Xstrata Zinc Canada Division ("Xstrata Zinc") which was signed in 2006 and covers exploration and future development within the prolific Matagami Lake Mining Camp located in the Abitibi region of central Québec. The Matagami Camp is supported by Xstrata Zinc's existing mine infrastructure, highly experienced workforce and an operating 2,600 tonne per day mill, as well as highway, railway and town site infrastructure. This infrastructure will benefit discoveries made under Donner's agreement with Xstrata Zinc.

The Matagami Project covers a 4,750 square kilometre area of mutual interest hosting productive Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide (VMS) stratigraphy surrounding the currently producing Perseverance Mine (100% owned by Xstrata Zinc). The camp has demonstrated potential, and has a pipeline of quality exploration targets that has lead to an exceptional discovery rate. Ores traditionally produced from the Matagami Camp are high-grade (zinc, copper, silver and gold). Xstrata Zinc's currently producing Perseverance Mine (5.12 million tonnes @ 15.82% zinc, 1.24% copper, 29.0g/t silver 0.38g/t gold) feeds the Matagami Lake mill complex, owned and operated by Xstrata Zinc. Concentrates are processed and refined at Xstrata's facilities in Rouyn-Noranda and Montreal.
Under the Matagami Project, the joint Donner - Xstrata exploration team have made four discoveries since the agreement was signed in 2006. The most advanced is the Bracemac/McLeod deposit (NI 43-101 Indicated Resource of 3.62 million tonnes grading 11.52% zinc, 1.60% copper, 31.55g/t silver and 0.49g/t gold) located 6 kilometres from the mill complex. This deposit was discovered in 2007 and it is currently under an accelerated feasibility study being conducted by Xstrata Zinc. The remaining three discoveries are scheduled for further investigation. The objective of the joint venture is to discover a 15 year resource base to feed the Matagami mill complex.
In addition to Matagami, Donner holds an interest in Knight Resources Ltd., a joint venture partner with Anglo American Exploration (Canada) Limited on the West Raglan nickel, copper PGE project in northern Québec.
